
Marci Hunn is the Principal and Owner of Lakeshire Strategies, a new consulting practice advancing program development, learning, leadership, and impact across the social sector. A mission-driven executive with more than twenty years of experience, she has led initiatives across philanthropic, federal, and nonprofit organizations across the country and internationally.
Marci is recognized for her strategic insight, data-informed decision-making, and ability to foster partnerships that drive economic stability for individuals and families. She brings deep expertise in managing multimillion-dollar grant portfolios, guiding philanthropic strategy, and serving as a trusted advisor to funders, grantees, and community leaders at the international, national, and regional levels.
Prior to launching Lakeshire Strategies, Marci served as Senior Program Director at The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Program Officer at the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), and Program Manager at Youth Service America. Her portfolio of experience includes designing and managing large-scale grant competitions, conducting organizational risk assessments, leading strategic planning efforts, and overseeing multi-stage review and funding processes.
A recognized leader in the workforce development field and beyond, Marci was named one of Maryland’s Leading Women under 40 (2011) and one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women (2016) by The Daily Record. Since 2022, she is also a member of the Leap Ambassadors Community, which is a network of social sector leaders committed to high performance and impact.
Marci earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University, with a concentration in adult development, and holds a certificate in Dynamic Teaming from Harvard Business School Online.
